Dinner at the Dartezes
Tonight we all three had supper together. Daddy bar-b-qued some steaks for all of us and mommy made asparagus and mashed potatoes. Mommy took all the food and pureed it for Madeline and we all ate the same thing for supper and ate at the dinner table. It is so nice to have a family dinner!

Potty
Ok so I read somewhere that you can start babies when they are young on the potty and not that they really learn faster, but you might have less of a fight later...so I figured why not? I picked up a potty for Madeline the other day and we tried it for the first time Thursday morning. Madeline woke up and her diaper was dry so I figured this would be a good time to start trying. So I ran to get her potty and sat her on it...nothing happened! We did, of course, get some pictures though.
Earlier today daddy put Madeline on her potty again and then gave her the baby magazine. This is not normally my kind of humor, but this was just too cute and funny not to take pictures of! :)

Fun in the sun
This morning we went and played outside in Madeline's baby pool. At first she was not sure about it at all! She didn't want to go in the pool by herself and made me go in with her. 
We also had a bubble machine going. Madeline liked to watch the bubbles but didn't like when they popped in her face!
The pool had a little sprinkler on it that M loved playing with!
After a little while she was ok to play by herself...but that only lasted for like 10 minutes and then mommy was back into the pool! 
Then it was time for a nap!!!!!

Spring Moms and Babe's Fest
On April 16th we went to a fest at Market Street in The Woodlands. We met up with Mrs. Annie and Arran over there and then ate lunch with them. We also saw Dr. Amber and Ms. Ashley.

Starting a couple of days before Madeline's 8 month birthday we started giving her all kinds of fun foods.
Madeline did NNNNNOOOOOOTTTTTTT like yogurt!!!!!!!!!!!
Daddy even tried to get her to eat it with some banana mixed in. She still was NOT having it!!!!
She learned to like it a lot!!!!! She LOVES banana yogurt!
Madeline's first cheese was Chedder!
She loves her cheese!
Madeline likes big kid oatmeal!!!!!!
She didn't really like her first meat...turkey!
"Mommy you can try to cover it up with all kinds of stuff and I still won't like it!"
Madeline could take or leave papaya!
Madeline liked her banana waffles a lot!!!!!!!! This was the first time that the three of us sat down at the table to eat as a family. So nice!!!!!
She had fun making a mess!
First bite of an egg yoke.
She wasn't too sure about, but now she likes them!
Chicken...yuck says Madeline!!!!!
Madeline finally liked some meat...meatloaf!!!!! I thought it was pretty good too...it has apples in the receipe!
I guess Madeline is not related to her Aunt Missy and Uncle Troy b/c she LOVES prunes!!!!! LOL Maw Maw Cloutier would love this!
On April 20th I tried giving her all kinds of my food and she didn't want any of it...just the jar baby food. Needless to say, I was not too happy! haha

Banana
So Madeline has been eating lots of new things. Yesterday she had an unmushed up banana for the first time and today I got it on video. Enjoy!

Silly Madeline
Madeline has been doing a lot of fun things!
Yesterday she met me in the hallway with the camera case. She is getting around everywhere! Although most of the time she will not crawl on the tile floor. It is kind of nice b/c it keeps her in one room...sometimes!
She loves playing with the door stop in our room. She sat there this morning popping it and laughing for like 5 minutes.
She is always SO interested in us brushing our teeth, so this morning daddy gave Madeline mommy's tooth brush. She can't wait to get teeth so that she can really do this!
Madeline LOVES bath time!!!!!! Tonight right when daddy turned on the water she got all excited and crawled really fast to the bathtub...but then the tile stopped her. Mommy picked Madeline up and put her on the rug so she could be close to the bathtub.
She also LOVES the camera and smiles whenever she sees mommy pull it out! HAM!!!!
