New Shoes!!!

Madeline got some new shoes today. I have been looking and looking and could not find what I wanted for her. She has a very small foot (3-6 month old shoes) and I wanted something that could go with a lot of outfits and still have a bit of a sole. I found some at a little boutique today. She actually got two pair, but these are the ones she will be wearing the most. Aren't they SO cute! :)

Cheerios and Noodles

Madeline had Cheerios (well Purely O's) for the first time on Monday. She did really well with them and by yesterday she was fine with handling like 4 of them at a time in her mouth. Mommy fussed at her for putting so many in her mouth and of course she laughed at me. I love Cheerios!!!!!!Last night mommy and daddy had spaghetti and so Madeline had noodles for the first time. She loved them! She even figured out how to suck them up. She was pretty good at getting them into her mouth...although they did get stuck to her fingers a lot. Mommy had to help her a little.
Oh and then she had pork roast for supper and she loved it! She ate really well last night...which has not been happening a lot lately! She is a big breakfast eater!!!!

I love that Madeline dances everytime music comes on!

No matter what song it is or what she is doing she will normally stop and start bouncing to the music. I guess starting her in Kindermusic at 4 weeks old really did work to make her like music! hahaha Sometime I have to change the channel if a song comes on and I am trying to put her to sleep b/c she will start dancing in her swaddle. Today Madeline and I played Just Dance together. I worn her for like three songs...talk about a workout!!!! She loved it and was dancing right along with me. Hopefully she will follow in her mommy's footsteps and take dancing for 13 years!

Eating with Aunt Jennifer

Aunt Jennifer was in town for Easter and came by the house on the Thursday night to being Madeline some more LSU pacifiers. THANK YOU SO MUCH AUNT JENNIFER FOR THE EXTRA ONES!!!!! While she was there she feed Madeline her supper.
Madeline was pleased with Aunt Jennifer's feeding skills!

Formula :(

So mommy is sad to say that Madeline is getting normally one bottle a day that is formula! :( I just can't pump enough for her to be able to go to daycare, so they are giving her a bottle of formula there. Madeline seems to really like it, so that makes me feel better. Oh and she would actually really rather nurse, so that make me a lot feel better.

She took her first bottle the day of my marathon, April 11th. That means she had a good 8 months of being breastfeed. I am happy with that! :) Daddy gave her the bottle first.

But later on she was fine taking the bottle from me!

And then on Friday she was flirt with the fireman., Jogging stroller, Prunes, TV - but she doesn't get to watch too much of it!

More fun facts about M:

She just started wearing a size 4 diaper today. Her size 6 month clothes are getting a little small for her and some 12 month stuff is fitting her well, but for the most part she is in 9 month clothes. She is starting to pull up really well on everything. Her claps are starting to make noise. She is 19.2 pounds. She is still sleeping in a swaddle...well at least for the beginning of the night. She sleeps inbetween mommy and daddy and LOVES it! She eats really well...not much of a mess, unless she is feeding herself. I think she really does enjoy daycare, b/c she never cries when I leave her there. She busts out in crocidile tears when I come into a room after being gone for a while. All of her teachers at daycare think it is SO funny! She thinks her daddy is the funniest thing on earth! I picked up almost all of her baby seat things yesterday. The only that is left is her Jeep/walker. She didn't like seat in the swing or the bouncer anymore!
