Wind Him Up...

Last year around this time I recorded a Little Einsteins episode that was about the Nutcracker. There is a part where they sing a song about winding up the Toy Prince. Well Madeline has been winding up the Toy Prince with them for the last week...ALL THE TIME!!!!!

Merry Christmas From Gi and Grandpa

Sunday daddy put together the wagon that Gi and Grandpa bought for Madeline. I don't think she really knew what it was at first! Then daddy showed her the seats and she wanted up and in!Daddy pulled her around the backyard.

Madeline enjoyed it so much that we went for a walk around the neighborhood.

Cleaning the Garage

Daddy decide to clean the garage yesterday in preperation for our New Years Eve party. Madeline and mommy went out to "help."
Daddy pulled out Madeline little tent that Gi gave her so she would have somewhere to play in the front yard. She liked when mommy and daddy would go take a "nap" inside with her!

Winter Wonderland...HAHAHA

After dinner we went and walked around the skating rink to see the lights...glad it was free!!!!!This was nothing like Acadiana Village!Madeline had more fun waving at people then looking at the lights. haha

Christmas Tree at Market Street

After ice skating we took Madeline to Market Street...where she ran around the HUGE Christmas tree! Can you see LITTLE Madeline?

She liked playing with the big bow.

Madeline pushed her stroller all around the tree and then we went to dinner at Berry Hill.

Ice Skating!!!!

We took Madeline ice skating in The Woodlands earlier today. She loved it!
The man had to make the skates REALLY small for Madeline! Daddy got skates on too and took Madeline out on the ice for the first time! She was of course a big ham out there!

She didn't really know what was going on, but she would give me a smile every now and then!

Mommy got out there in flip flops for a little while to give daddy's back a break!

We tried the walker thingy, but it didn't really work!

She would hold on, but then slide out the bottom

Madeline really wanted to be a big girl and go by herself, but then she would fall!

Gingerbread House

Last night after dinner we made a gingerbread house. Daddy mixed the icing and built the house. Daddy let Madeline lick the icing off the mixer...she loved it!

Then it was time for Madeline to decorate the house!

She didn't understand what to do at first...but then she got the hang of it and did a great job!

Mommy helped Madeline out a little too!

Mommy would hand Madeline a gum drop and she would put it on the house. Madeline's master piece!
