Splash Town

Friday afternoon Madeline and mommy tried out Splash Town for the first time...and Madeline loved it!!!!!! This is our first steps into the kiddie pool. It was great b/c she could reach throughout the whole pool. Madeline liked sitting on the chomp (hand clap) chomp (hand clap) chomp (hand clap)!

Madeline wouldn't climb up the stairs and slide down so mommy just put Madeline as high as she could and let Madeline slide down. Madeline loved it! Mommy had to do the same thing here b/c Madeline didn't want to climb up the stairs.

Enjoying some chedder bunnies while mommy picked up everything and got ready to go.

Mommy didn't mean to, but we ended up closing down the place. Madeline had SO much fun, but was so tired that night. Mommy can't wait to do it again...maybe next week!

Best Friends!

Yesterday when Maw Maw and Carly got to our house Madeline was so excited...she round around laughing and screaming for like 10 minutes. Then today she was excited that Carly came back to the house to play. Madeline got a huge kick out of Carly sitting in the back with her while we running around town. This was right before Maw Maw and Carly had to head back to Lafayette. Madeline gave them both a big hug and kiss...then started crying. She didn't want to see two of her favorite people leave...she even chased them halfway down our road. She loves her Maw Maw and her Carly!

Ballet Shoes!

Today we got Madeline's ballet shoes. Madeline wasn't so sure at first! Then I think she liked it when the lady put the other shoe on. Madeline didn't want to take them off!

End Of the Year Program

Last night was Gateway's end of the year program. Madeline's class was supposed to do the hand motions to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, but it didn't really turn out that way. There was a person dressed up like a bear that persented awards to some of the older kids that walked off stage right before Madeline walked on. Mommy didn't know this or else she would have gone and gotten off the stage. Mommy still feels bad about this!

It is really sad that the bear messed everything up b/c I think Madeline was really looking farward to "singing and dancing" to her song.

Mommy was able to take Madeline from the stage right after the song was over. At that point Mrs. Lisa told mommy that the bear was the problem. Madeline cried for a couple more seconds but then was fine. She went and sat on Maw Maw and was happy. They went ALL out for this program and even had a backdrop for pictures.A family picture!Maw Maw and Carly drove in just to see Madeline's program! Carly and Madeline are great friends!
