Total Bust!
Yesterday Madeline and mommy went to the library for the mobile zoo show. The show was WAY over Madeline's head...a little over mommy's too. The library lady kept fussing at Madeline to sit down, so needless to say we left really early. Mommy decided to leave before we got kicked out. Sooo, no cute pictures of Madeline with animals like mommy thought...no pictures period! Oh well...next week is a puppet show and maybe it will be better!

Mommy's checkup
Mommy had her 28 week checkup today at Nativiti and Madeline came along too. We were there for 2 hours so Madeline had lots of time to play with all the toys. She loved the My Little Pony!

We left around 1:30 on Saturday afternoon. Madeline slept for only about 2 hours...
and watched TV the rest of the time. She was happy to see Aunt Jennifer and Uncle Dave in Baton Rouge. We slept at Maw Maw and Paw Paw's house that night and then headed back home on Sunday afternoon. We had a great time and look forward to many more trips to the beach!

Saturday we went to the Big Kahuna on our way out of town. Mommy and daddy figured this would ware Madeline out and make her sleep the whole way home. Madeline had fun riding down the big frog slide with Carly. 
Then we went on the lazy river...only so that we could get to the other kiddie section!
Madeline and daddy went down a little slide off the side of the boat. 
Madeline got some sunscreen in her eyes so we went and sat down for a little while. Daddy went to get us some snacks and Madeline fell asleep in the mean time. Mommy let her sleep for about 10 minutes thinking she would wake up in a much better mood. It did help, but Madeline was still a little tired. After we ate a little snack we went to another part of the park. Madeline just enjoyed watching other people slide down...since she couldn't. :(
We continued on to another part where their were smaller slides for Madeline to ride on. She liked the little one a lot!

So then daddy decided to try the bigger one.
Well, on the way down Madeline flipped around and got on her tummy. She didn't like this and wouldn't go on anymore slides...
unless her daddy went with her. But then, of course, daddy got in trouble for double sliding. I don't know that we will be going back to The Big Kahuna anytime soon. They are Debby Downers!
On the way out we found a tattoo stand. Madeline had been wanting one, but then when we would get up to it she got scared. This time mommy and daddy decided just to get it done so that we didn't hear about it all the way home.
Madeline loves her frog tattoo...she still has it on!

I think the best part of this park was the tattoo place...and that is about it!

Saturday morning we went and got coffee and a smoothie for Madeline. She really does love her smoothies!!!!!!
Friday Funday!
Friday night we all went eat at Rum Runners. Madeline loved listening to the guitar guy and dancing. At first she just sat on daddy's lap, but then warmed up and started to dance by herself on the dance floor. She is so cute! 
Then we all went to the Village. Maw Maw and Alec rode the carousel with Madeline and then Aunt Melissa held her so she could see Carly, Alec, Austin, and Aunt Jeanne ride the machanical bull.
Madeline loved sitting outside of this little booth that made rock videoes of people. She was dancing for awhile to them. Aunt Jeanne decided that we needed to make one...
So all the girls did! We all got up there and wore green sheets and sang to "Girls Just Want to Have Fun." Madeline didn't know what in the world was going on. 
Some of the boys (Paw Paw, Uncle Troy, Austin, Alec, and Brendan) got up there and sang to Super Freak after we did ours. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time!!! This was a great last night for us!
Then we all went to the Village.
