Day 2 at the Beach!

Yesterday we got out to the beach a little ealier and Madeline loved it! She played in the sand for a while.Daddy would build her a sand castle and then Madeline would knock it down.

Daddy decided to take her into the water...at first she was cold and didn't really want to get in.

But then she decided she liked it a lot! She loved when mommy, daddy, and Gi would make a big deal about the water coming up to get her. She would yell and laugh at everyone!

So had so much fun out there!

Even though the water was freezing she still wanted to go deeper and deeper!

Mommy took a turn holding onto Madeline. If we would have let her she would have run out there by herself!

Monday night everyone came over to our condo for some of Grandpa's gumbo. Madeline loved all the attention...can you tell? Madeline and Great Grandpa laughing Madeline likes Stuart!!!!And Madeline finally warmed up to Aunt Michele!

The Beach

Monday morning mommy and daddy unpacked the car and got everything in order in the condo...then it was time for the beach! Madeline walked in the sand a little...then she decided she did NOT like it!We couldn't even get her to put her feet down.

She would sit on daddy's lap and hold her feet up so that she wouldn't touch the sand!

After about 30 minutes of her not touching the sand daddy decided she needed to like it so we could play. We put her down and made her learn to walk in it...after about 5 minutes she loved it! Madeline started walking all over the place.

After playing on the beach for about an hour Madeline went up to the condo and took a three and a half hour nap!

Road Trip!!!!

Sunday we were watching the Saints game with Mr. Brent and Mrs. Tracey and they told us that the New Orleans Zoo is not open on Monday, so all of our plans changed. We had planned to drive to New Orleans on Sunday night, go to the zoo on Monday morning, and then finish the drive to Orange Beach on Monday afternoon. With hearing this news we decided just to drive the whole way to Orange Beach on Sunday night. Here is a picture of Madeline out cold on the way.We finally got in around midnight!

GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!!!

This past Friday night we drove to Baton Rouge so that we could start tailgating early Saturday morning. Mommy and daddy got out to Tiger Stadium at 7 am and then Madeline came later with Gi and grandpa. She loved being out there in the wide open field. Gi had picked up her own LSU tailgating chair...which she loves! Mommy brought lots of toys to play with.

Mommy and daddy got tickets to the game and Madeline went home with Gi and Aunt Jennifer.

Thanksgiving Feast

Last Thursday Madeline school had a big Thanksgiving Feast. Mommy went to help that morning and then ate with Madeline. Here is Madeline and our neighbor, Caden, eating their chicken, fruit, cheese, and some bread. Mommy and Madeline
