Fun at the Village

Friday morning we went eat at Another Broken Egg and then went to play in the Village. First we fed the fish. Daddy pointing out to Madeline a fish.

Then Madeline rode on the carousel one...

three times. Daddy was sick by the end!
Madeline, as usual, was not happy when it was time to get off!

Family Pictures

Thursday night we all went out to the beach to take family pictures. Aunt Melissa had bough Madeline and Carly another dress that match...so they were twins again! Daddy had to run all over after Madeline so that she wouldn't get covered in sand while we were out there!

Maw Maw, Aunt Melissa, and Aunt Jeanne said the pictures came out so well. Can't wait to see them in a couple of weeks!

Kayaking

Thursday morning we decided to take Madeline on her first kayaking trip (it was only about 20 -30 minutes long). I think this was her first time on a boat! Daddy had to help Madeline put on her life jacket. Madeline getting onto the boat...she did really well!

Madeline really enjoyed her ride around the bay! Afterwards we played on the beach for a little while. Madeline and daddy found a hermit crab. Madeline would only look at it...not touch!

On our walk back to the condo we stopped at the treehouse and let Madeline climb up it! She had so much fun at the top of it and yelled when we would try to go up with her. It was HER house!

After that it was time for a nap!

Convention Day at the Beach

Wednesday the convention rented out a bunch of chairs on the beach for all the members so we decided to take advantage of them. Madeline and mommy waited at the front while daddy went and got the car for us. Madeline loved the sand again but did not want anything to do with the water!

Really they just dug a whole and Madeline would sit in it and daddy would pour water on her.

Then daddy decided to bury Madeline

She loved it! And wanted him to do it again and again and again! Madeline was so tired, but didn't want to go in!

Daddy worked hard to teach Madeline how to drink out of a water bottle!

Around 1:00 Madeline had enough and it was time to go back to the condo and nap. Daddy went with her this time and mommy got to lay on the beach by herself for a little while!

Dancing Queen!!!!!

Madeline was SUCH a Dancing Queen last Tuesday night at the convention. Mommy and daddy ended up crashing the party around 9:00 and I am so glad we did. The band was on a break when we got there and started back up not long after. We all went out on the dance floor and danced danced danced! Madeline had SO much fun dancing with all of her cousins! And her daddy too!
Madeline shut the place down!!!! She was so upset about having to leave!

Twins!

Tuesday night Madeline and Carly dressed alike to go to a convention dinner. Aunt Melissa got the two of them the dresses. They were twins!They had so much fun dancing in front of the mirror in Maw Maw and Paw Paw room.

The kids were getting a little rowdy before leaving for the dinner so mommy pulled out markers for them to color. Madeline had fun bangging them on the table!

New Toy!!!

Tuesday afternoon Maw Maw and Paw Paw took the older grandchildren down to the Village while the younger ones slept. They brought Madeline back a new bathtub toy! Madeline is SCARED (shake, shake) of the shark, whale, and crab puzzle!
