Playdate

Monday afternoon mommy and Madeline went to play with Mrs. Danielle (Aunt Jennifer's friend from Lafayette) and Caden. It was a lot of fun making new friends!

Feels like Fall

YAY!!!! It was finally a little cold on Monday morning and Madeline was able to wear jeans for the first time this season! Gi gave her this cute outfit!

Daddy's Little Helper!

Madeline had a very important job helping daddy get ready for the West Virginia game...putting the beer in the fridge! Madeline takes her "jobs" VERY seriously!!!!!She was a big help!

Playing at the Mall

Mommy and daddy took Madeline to breakfast at The Egg and I and then to play at the mall on Saturday morning.

Madeline was sporting her favorite colors...of course...it was game day!!!! Although the game was on so late she didn't get to see any of the game!She was talking a storm while playing by herself!She is getting really good at climb up and over the bridge, but she still needs a little help some times!After playing at the tree we took Madeline to her favorite store...the pet store! She LOVES to look at all the dogs and cats! She even got to pet one!

Flower Girl

Madeline is going to be in her first wedding!!!!!!! Aunt Jennifer and Dave ask her to be in their wedding sometime next year. We can't wait!

Molars

I noticed last night that Madeline is getting her two smaller molars at the top. This morning I saw one of the molars just starting to break the skin on the bottom. Madeline has not had problems with her teeth at all. I figured her molars would give her problems b/c everyone talks about how painful they are, but thanks goodness she has had no problems with them!

Bathtime Fun!!!!!

Madeline loves bathtime! Last night daddy caught some of it on video. The first one is Madeline fussing at daddy for telling her that she couldn't turn the water on.

The second video is Madeline blowing bubbles!

This last video is Madeline telling herself NO NO NO, she knows she is not supposed to turn the water on!

Baby Blaine!

Yesterday mommy was finally able to hold Blaine, and Madeline didn't get too upset! She did want to sit on me and see Baby Blaine though. She was a little rough at first, but then mommy showed her how to be "soft soft" and she was a little more gentle. At one point I think she put her hands out like she wanted to hold him, but mommy said not yet. So Madeline huged his feet. I kind of think she thought he was a baby doll, but was very interested in him!

Madeline was not too impressed at first!But then she really liked looking at Baby Blaine!Maw Maw, Paw Paw, and all seven grandchildren!!!!!!

First Soccer Game

Madeline went to Alec's first soccer game of the year and her first soccer game ever. She kind of enjoyed it...well she enjoyed see all the kids run around! Alec scored two goals, but it was HOT! Maw Maw talked mommy into giving Madeline a snow cone b/c it was so hot!

My Friend Matthew

After meeting Blaine we went and had lunch with Michelle, Matthew, Maw Maw, and Brendan at Cafe Roma. Lunch took forever and were finally able to make it to Play and Learn With Me...in Broussard.
Here is Madeline and Matthew playing in the balls. They both LOVED it!!!!!Madeline kept burying herself in the balls! Madeline also loved to climb up the slide and then throw herself down it...sometimes face first! Madeline climbing over the soft bridge!Madeline enjoyed jumping on the little trampoline! Her feet still don't leave the ground though!

New Cousin

Madeline has a new little cousin...Blaine!!!! He was born on Thursday, September 16 at 11:40. He weighed 7 lbs. and 10 oz, and was 21 inches long. Mommy and Madeline got to go and see him on Friday morning in the hospital. He was sleeping and we were a little sick, so we didn't get to hold him. Madeline tried to give him her pacifier. She might actually like her little brother/sister after all! haha

Mardi Gras Beads!

Madeline LOVES Mardi Gras beads!!!!! She play with these for at least 30 minutes on Sunday afternoon!

Playing in the Mall

A couple Saturdays ago mommy and daddy took Madeline to eat at The Egg and I and then to the mall to play. Daddy had never taken Madeline to play there before. We got there super early so that there was no one else there. Madeline had fun playing at the big tree and then we moved on to ride the cars. She loves to push all the buttons!

Big Sister!!!!

Last Thursday we found out that Madeline is going to be a big sister!

I love when Madeline is falling asleep she pets me.

At night Madeline roams around the bed until she finally gets tired enough to fall asleep and then she will normally cuddle up next to me and start rubbing my arm or tummy. She pets me ever so lightly like I do to her. It is so cute and I just love it! I don't even mind when she wakes me up at 3am and does it. She is such a sweet baby!

All about Madeline!

Madeline weighs about 20 pounds right now and is about 30 inches long. She wears mostly 12 month clothes and size 4 diapers. She is walking really really well and almost running. She loves to get into everything, but is not really climbing yet...thank goodness! She is a very happy and sweet baby.

GEAUX SAINTS!!!!

Madeline had to support the Saints on Thursday at school. The t-shirt was a little big, so once again mommy had to tie it up in the back. Geaux Black and Gold!!!!!

Chapel T-Shirt

So last Tuesday Madeline had to wear her Chapel T-shirt to school. It was an extra small but still WAY too big for her!!!! It is a good thing that mommy was in a sorority and knew how to tie up her shirt so well! The shirt was more of a dress, so mommy tied it up in the back. Madeline with her cute shirt on and shoes!

Water fun!

Last Monday was mommy's 30th birthday! Daddy washed mommy's car and Madeline went outside to "help"!

She didn't like it when the water would splash in her face, but yet she kept doing it! And then she would kind of laugh!

She got soaking wet and her diaper weighed a ton, but Madeline had SO much fun out there!

We went over to Gi and grandpa's house last Sunday, along with Aunt Jennifer, Dave, Aunt Michele, Uncle Jim, and The Browns to celebrate Labor Day and Dave & mommy's birthday. Grandpa BBQed and Gi made cupcakes! Madeline loved eating the cupcakes!!!!!!!! She REALLY loved the icing!

Southern Star Brewery

Last Saturday was Madeline's first time at Southern Star Brewery up in Conroe. She had a lot of fun pushing her stroller all around the brewery!!!! Madeline's way of telling me she wanted more snacks!

Madeline still wanting more snacks! I guess Aunt Jennifer and daddy wouldn't give her anymore!

Madeline thinks it is so funny when daddy tackles her. He says Down! Set! Hut! Hut! Hut! and then gets her and she laughes and laughes and laughes. Madeline thinks she is funny b/c she got the football from daddy!
