My baby!

Today mommy had her 20 weeks check and ultrasound. Mommy was running a little late to pick up Madeline from school and brought in the picture to make up for it. Madeline got all excited and started saying Baby, Baby, Baby. She went and showed her teacher and Mrs. Stacy. She was all proud of her baby!

Amen

Last week mommy started saying prayers with Madeline every night before she goes to sleep. Mommy taught her...In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit...Amen. Madeline doesn't really get the sign of the cross...but she says Amen and puts her hands together. She is so cute! Then every night mommy asks her who she wants to pray for and it is always either Paw Paw or Gi. So you two know, you are well taken care of...along with a lot of other people too! :)

Summer Schedule

This summer Madeline will be going back to Katering 2 Kids Daycare in the afternoons so mommy can get a little work done...but in the morings its playtime. Mommy is thinking we will go play at the mall on Mondays. We will have swimming lessons (by mommy) on Tuesdays. Madeline will go to dancing on Wednesdays. Then on Thursdays...mommy bought a season pass to Splash Town. YAY!! We will probably go for a little while every Thursday morning right when it opens. Mommy is hoping that maybe we will have the park kind of to ourselves!
Then maybe we will finish up the week with a little Pump It Up! Oh and we can't forget that Saturdays are daddy and Madeline's soccer day! Fun times ahead!!!!!!

Swimming

Mommy was a little sad today b/c another chapter in Madeline's life is over...mommy and me swimming. Today was our last class! Mommy is going to spend the summer teaching Madeline herself and then hopefully in the Fall Madeline can start back up again in the pool by herself. Mommy enjoyed the year and a half that we did of swimming, but all good things must come to an end.

Easter at Gi and Grandpa's

We spent Easter at Gi and Grandpa's house along with The Browns. After lunch Grandpa went and hide some eggs for Madeline in the backyard. She was so excited to go and get more candy! She carried around her basket...she had this thing down pat!

Easter Bunny!

The Easter Bunny pasted yesterday morning for Madeline and she got all kinds of goodies! Madeline first getting to see all of her stuff!

She liked the little Pezz Bunny and Chick! She doesn't know that candy goes inside!

She got a new bubble machine and some rain boots...one day it will rain again!

So in an effort to not give her anymore candy we told her this bunny was a hat...smart thinking daddy! Also notice the rain boots on...she loves them!

After Madeline played with her toys and ate a bunch of candy we asked if now she likes the Easter Bunny...she said YES!!!!!!

Ketchup and Mustard

Saturday night daddy Bar B Qued us some burgers. Madeline ate some of it and then decided she wanted to just play in the ketchup and mustard...so we let her. You are only young once...right? She put it all down her arm. Then she kept licking it off, but she didn't like the mustard at all...that would explain the funny face!

Snap!!!!

Madeline can snap!!!!! We didn't think she would really get it so quickly. Daddy started teaching her that about 2 weeks ago and Friday night she really started doing it. She would snap for herself when she got an answer right on mommy's phone. Look mommy, I can snap!!!!!

Swimming

This past Friday (Good Friday) Madeline and mommy went to the neighborhood pool for the first time this year. It wasn't really cold so we had a nice time. For a while we had the baby pool all to ourselves! Madeline liked the fact that she could stand up and walk/jump around the pool all she wanted. She likes being a big girl!!!!! After about 45 minutes she was done, so mommy wrapped her in a towel and gave her a snack. Madeline really enjoyed she watching all the other kids play in the pool! She is a people watcher like her mommy!

Easter Egg Hunt at School!

Last Thursday Madeline's school had chapel and then an Easter Egg Hunt. They all wore their chapel t-shirts. Madeline brought Mrs. Lisa and Ms. Ashley each a big Easter egg with chocolates! Madeline came home with lots of eggs filled with candy...that mommy and daddy have been enjoying! :)

Last Monday mommy and Madeline went to Boni's Dance Studio to pick up the registraion papers and schedule for dancing this summer and next year. Madeline will hopefully be taking dancing on Wednesday morning this summer starting June 8th! Mommy can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheese

Madeline LLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS cheese!!!!!! She will hold open the refrigerator doors and make mommy or daddy give her cheese! She will yell cheese from her high chair and point to the frige! She normally will not eat anything else until she has had some sort of cheese. This girl LOVES cheese!!!!!!!!

Easter Egg Hunt!

Yesterday afternoon we went out to Missouri City to hunt for Easter Eggs at Auntie Alisa's house. Alisa hide golden eggs with really good gifts inside. We got 50 free holiday cards! Madeline didn't like the Easter Bunny again...although she did pet him once! Poor baby was shaking again though!

Dying Easter Eggs!

Yesterday morning we went out in the front and dyed Easter eggs. Madeline helped with every step! She put the tablets in the cups for daddy! And then she helped him count out the tablespoons of vinegar. Next Madeline helped put the eggs into the cups to dye.

Mommy and Madeline put glitter on the eggs and painted them. Madeline liked using the paint brush!

Good thing mommy put old clothes on Madeline b/c she had dye and paint all over!
