Mommy WON!!!!!!

Madeline put up a pretty good fight but after an hour and 20 minutes, and not too many tears, she finally feel asleep in her Pack N Play for her nap.

It has been a long time coming that Madeline was going to have to get out of our bed. Mommy can't yet move her all the way to her bed in her room, so the Pack N Play will have to do. Sha, my baby girl is growing up!
We will see if mommy and daddy are able to do this again tonight or if Madeline will end up in bed with us...to be continued!

Christmas in February

Mommy went to Lafayette this past weekend and Madeline and daddy had their first daddy/daughter weekend. They had lots of fun running around town and playing with the ducks. Mommy picked up a Christmas present for Madeline from Aunt Sandra while she was there.Madeline enjoyed opening the present!
Madeline walked all around the house this morning with the computer. She loves it!

Daddy at Swimming Lessons

Madeline is doing so well in swimming now. She has been moved up to Baby Ducks 3. Mommy will be out of the pool as soon as she turns 2!

The Zoo

A couple Saturdays ago we took Madeline to the Houston Zoo for the first time. Outside was a pond with a bunch of ducks. Daddy took her close to them!Madeline and daddy by the ducksMadeline liked to wave at the ducks!I think Madeline would have been happy to just stay there all day, but we decided to go check everything else out too!

Valentine's Day At School

Madeline's class had a Valentine's Day party on the Thursday before Valentine's Day. Madeline had to bring frosting for the cookies they were decorating! Madeline also brought Valentines to each of her classmates...along with a Crunck Bar. Here are some pictures of Madeline before school that day. Say cheese!Silly girl!!!!

Mommy and Daddy Are Home!!!

Mommy and daddy missed Madeline SO much while they were skiing. Madeline and Gi were waiting for mommy and daddy at home when they got back. Mommy gave Madeline a big huge and lots of kisses!!! Then the three of us went and played in the backyard. Daddy and Madeline had a lot of fun playing while mommy just had to sit and watch.It had been so cold the week before there was still ice in Madeline's wagon.
Mommy doesn't want to leave Madeline for that long again for a long time!!!

Trip to Gi and Grandpa's

Mommy and daddy went skiing in Breckenridge at the beginning of the month and Madeline went and stayed at Gi and Grandpa's house. They had lots of fun, but had to stay inside most of the time b/c it was SO cold!

Poopy on the Potty

At the end of last month Madeline went poopy on the potty for the first time. We could tell that she was trying to so daddy ran and got her little potty. He sat her down on it and a little while later she did. We were so proud of her.

Its been awhile!!!!

Mommy has been sick for the last couple of weeks...but for a very good reason! Madeline is going to be a big sister on September 18th!
