Trike-A-Thon

Today was the Trike-A-Thon at school! They were raising money for St. Jude's. Madeline didn't ride a bike or a tricycle...she just rode in the Bye Bye Buggy (a 6 person stroller). Mommy didn't go this year, b/c she thought that Madeline might not want to stay and participate if she saw her. Ms. Ashley and Ms. Lisa said that Madeline had a great time and enjoyed her lunch from Sonic! The kids all made a shirt earlier this week and worn them today for the big event! Old McDonald's Farm

Last Friday Madeline and mommy went to Old McDonald's Farm in Humble. First we saw a peacock. So pretty! Then we got to see Madeline's favorites...DUCKS!!!!!

There were a bunch of deer just roaming around the farm and we got to get up really close to them!

She had fun up there playing with the trucks! She loves to pick up dirt and sand and put it in/on things!!!!!

Madeline really enjoyed the farm but was worn out by the end and was ready for a nap!

North Shore Park

A couple weekends ago we took Madeline to North Shore Park. Madeline and daddy had been there before, but this was mommy's first time. First we went to see Madeline's favorite...the ducks!Then Madeline got to go play on the huge playground!Daddy had to go up on some of the big stuff with Madeline!Madeline loves to slide, but sometime she forgets she can do it by herself! Madeline had a lot fun and didn't want to leave!

Baby Dartez

Madeline wore her Big Sister t-shirt last Thursday and told everyone that she is going to be a big sister. Her teachers were very excited!

Soccer!!!!!!

This morning was Madeline's first soccer practice at Ledgends Sport Complex. It is a mommy/daddy and me class, so daddy participated! Here is Madeline playing before class started. Madeline and daddy playing before class.

They started the class by rolling the ball and saying their name...then stretching!

Then they played Red Light, Green Light! Madeline running!

Next they built towers with the ball and cones and then were supposed to kick the ball out. Madeline had more fun building the tower!!!!! She had to put every cone on the tower that she could find.The coach had to take Madeline's foot and kick the ball for her!Then it was bubble time! They had to stomp on the bubbles instead of using their hands.

Then they had to kick the soft balls...but Madeline liked to pick them up instead and run with them.Madeline kicking the ball off of a cone!

After that they had to run through an obsticle course. Madeline didn't really understand this whole thing!Daddy had to help her a lot!Last but not least, Madeline's favorite part...the parachute!!!!!!!

Madeline had SSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOO much fun with this!!!!!!!!

They didn't have a uniform in Madeline's size...so she will get hers next week. I can't wait to see her in it!!!!!!

More Squeaky Shoes

Thursday mommy got Madeline another pair of squeaky shoes and this time she REALLY loves them. I think she is going to be sad when I take the squeakers out!

Big Sister

St. Patti's Day

Madeline went down on Thursday so well for her nap! She only cried for about 5 minutes off and on and then played for a while and then just went to sleep. I think she is really getting the hang of this big girl bed! Oh and now this is the only place that she can have a pacifier!

Makeup

Every moring Madeline and mommy put on there makeup! Thursday morning Madeline did an extra good job and mommy have to clean her face off before we could leave the house!

Big Girl Bed

Tuesday night Madeline slept in her big girl bed all night for the first time. It was a bit of a fight to get her to go down and then she did wake up for a while in the middle of the night, but she did stay there the whole night. I think she is kind of learning to like her bed! She has been taking naps and sleeping there every night since then. Mommy and daddy are so proud of her...and a little sad too. Our baby girl is growing up!

Bad Daddy

Daddy was having a coke last Sunday and decided to see if Madeline would like it...well she did! She ran around the house, of course, saying "Coke, Coke, Coke." She will not be allowed coke again for a while!

Madeline still loves bathtime! Mommy snapped some pictures while Madeline was playing at Maw Maw's. So pretty!

Gnomeo and Juliet

Last Thursday when we were in Lafayette Madeline attended her first movie in the theater. We saw Gnomeo and Juliet. Maw Maw got her some popcorn (this was her first time having popcorn) and she loved it! Madeline liked sitting on the buster seat like a big girl! The movie was in 3D...she didn't wear the glasses for very long!

Madeline enjoyed the movie with Carly, Camden, Austin, Maw Maw, and mommy!

Madeline did so well during the movie!!!!! She sat on mommy some of the time and then sat in her seat and ate popcorn. She loved it! When Carly got home she told Aunt Missy that Madeline did excellent!

Magnets

Madeline loves to play with the magnets at Maw Maw's house!This morning she would move all of them to one side of the fridge and then back to the other side again.
