Painting

Yesterday we painted! Mommy was so tired from being a single parent all weekend but decided that Madeline had watch WAY too much TV and so we needed to do something...so we painted! Mommy got out some colors first to keep Madeline busy while she got the paint ready. Mommy helped Madeline make a Welcome Home Daddy sign!

Then it was time to paint!

Madeline loved using the paint brush with the Easter Eggs so much that mommy figured try that first!

Madeline loved dipping the brush in all the colors and then finally putting it on the paper. Oh well, whatever she enjoys!

Then Madeline decided to start painting on her hand. Not mommy's favorite thing, but she was too tired to fight with Madeline to keep it on the paper!

Then mommy really gave in and let Madeline paint on her hands!

It took a while, but Madeline finally figured out she didn't really need the brush...she could use her fingers!

Madeline really enjoyed this!

Right before mommy threw Madeline in the tub! She had paint from head to toe!

Mommy put the Welcome Home Daddy sign on the front door.

And the Madeline Loves Daddy sign on the wall.

Madeline missed daddy a lot and was SO happy to see him when he walked in the door!
